3) The Palestinian “supreme authority” convened for the first time in 22 years, during which Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas criticized U.S. President Donald Trump’s decisions to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, and to relocate the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
