1) The violent protests along the Gaza Strip’s border with Israel have dwindled significantly, with only several hundreds’ partaking in demonstrations over the weekend at five separate locations along the security fence.
2) Muslim leaders gathered for an emergency summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, during which Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan underscored the need to hold Israel accountable for – what he termed – “the massacre of innocent people,” while comparing Israel to Nazi Germany.
3) The south American state of Paraguay officially inaugurated its embassy in Jerusalem today, following in the footsteps of Guatemala and the United States.
