“I wish the Iranian people success in their noble quest for freedom.”- PM Netanyahu

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejects Rohani’s claim and criticizes the European countries for their silence regarding what is happening in Iran:

“I heard today President Rohani’s claim that Israel is behind the demonstrations in Iran, not only that it is a lie, but unlike Rouhani, I will not offend the Iranian people, they deserve more, brave Iranians flock to the streets. Which were denied them for decades.

“The cruel regime in Iran is spending tens of billions of dollars on spreading hatred. This money could have been used to build schools or hospitals. It is no wonder fathers and mothers walk through the streets. The regime is afraid of them, of its own people. That’s why they imprison students. That’s why they prohibit social networks. But I am convinced that fear will not win. Because the Iranian people are smart, sophisticated and proud. Today, he risks everything for freedom.

“Unfortunately, many European governments are silent at the beating of young Iranian heroes in the streets. It’s just not right. I, on the other hand, do not intend to remain silent.

“This regime is desperately trying to sow hatred between us. But he will not succeed.

“And when the regime finally falls, and one day it happens, the Iranians and the Israelis will return to being good friends. I wish the Iranian people success in their noble quest for freedom. ”
