Today’s News Summaries November 5 2018

The sanctions against Iran are having a deep impact on the ability for the Iranian regime to hold on to power in the Middle East. This is just one of the many accomplishments we feature today in Article 1…
Love breeds Love. Hate breeds Hate. Never before are these maxims of life more apparent than today when we look at America. We see a nation in distress because of an unprecedented level of HATRED, bordering on paranoia, towards a sitting President. This atmosphere is detrimental to America and to Israel. No longer is a President evaluated by his concrete accomplishments, but by his manner of speech. This HATRED is manifested in many ways in our society, ways that our Founding Fathers never envisioned.
The pillars of our society are under attack. Free Speech, especially in Universities, is no longer the rule, but the exception. Open Dialogue with someone with a different opinion, has become contentious with people having no tolerance for others with opinions they do not want to hear.

Prime minister thanks Trump as new penalties against Tehran go into effect after pullout from nuclear deal, claims move will put Iranian regime ‘in a choke hold.’
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday praised US President Donald Trump’s “courageous, determined and important decision” to reinstate all US sanctions on Iran that had been lifted under the 2015 nuclear deal, saying the move was a direct result of his own efforts against the deal.
“For many years I have devoted my time and energy to the war against the Iranian threat. On this issue I went up almost against the whole world. Today we see the results of this long and ongoing struggle,” Netanyahu said at the opening of his Likud faction meeting in the Knesset.
“This day is a historic day,” Netanyahu said. ”I would like to again thank President Donald Trump again for a courageous, determined and important decision. I think this contributes to stability, security and peace.”

Ben & Jerry’s Israel, the licensee of the American ice cream company, issued a statement saying that it will not carry the brand’s new Pecan Resistance flavor, which is promoted by anti-Israel activist, Linda Sarsour, The Jerusalem Post reported Thursday.
Ben & Jerry’s announced the introduction of Pecan Resistance earlier this week, saying that proceeds from sales of the new flavor will support “groups creating a more just and equitable nation for us all.”
In a statement posted to its Facebook page, Ben & Jerry’s Israel said, “All of the products sold in Israel are made in a factory located in Beer Tuviya…. We buy our milk and cream only from Israeli producers. We have no connection to the decisions made by the global brand, and we don’t get involved in local or world politics.”
The Israeli company said that it had no intention of marketing the new flavor but clarified that it would “continue to work and act for the community and for Israeli society.”

PA TV showed a photo with rows of dead bodies claiming they were Arabs killed by Israelis in the Arab village of Al-Dawayima in 1948.
PA TV already lied about this photo of Holocaust victims earlier this year. Then they told their viewers they were Arabs killed by Israelis at Deir Yassin in 1948.
Below is the original photo from the concentration camp at Nordhausen, originally a sub-camp of Buchenwald, showing hundreds of dead victims. It was taken right after liberation of the camp by the American army:

CAIRO — Islamist gunmen killed at least seven Coptic Christian pilgrims in Egypt on Friday and wounded at least 16 in an attack later claimed by the Islamic State.
The attack — an ambush on two buses — ended a nearly yearlong lull in major attacks on Copts in Egypt, and may signal a resumption of the Islamic State’s campaign to sow sectarian divisions in Egyptian society.
It was also a setback for President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who has put security concerns at the heart of his autocratic style of rule and has repeatedly vowed to protect Christians, a minority in the country, from attack.
The shooting occurred as two buses carrying pilgrims left the Monastery of Saint Samuel the Confessor, 85 miles south of Cairo, in Egypt’s Western Desert.

These benefits for Hamas are exactly why the proposed truce is dangerous and sends the wrong message to Hamas and other Palestinian terrorists. A truce now says that if you engage in violent, extortionistic acts, you get what you want.
This victory for Hamas will, of course, only increase the terrorists’ appetite and motivation to continue their attempts to kill as many Jews as possible. They will see any truce as a retreat on the part of Israel in the face of violence and terrorism.
Hamas will now have more time to prepare for the next war against Israel. The proposed truce will give Hamas breathing space to smuggle more weapons into the Gaza Strip, dig new tunnels and recruit thousands of Palestinians to its ranks.
A real truce between Israel and the Gaza Strip will be achieved only after the jihadi terrorists are removed from power, and not rewarded for violence and threats.
