1 – US Embassy in Jerusalem enhances US Interest, TheEttingerReport.com, by Amb. Yoram Ettinger
The US decision to comply with the law of the land – the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act – recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and relocating the US Embassy there, enhances the US posture of deterrence, in defiance of threats and pressure, while walking against the grain
This reasserts the independence of US unilateral diplomatic action, rather than subordinate US interests to multilateral diplomacy, which tends to undermine US interests. Moreover, it challenges the political correctness of the UN, the Department of State and the “elite” media, which have been serial blunderers on Middle East issues.

Article by James Every, AP -The impromptu demonstration reflected anger in Iran after Trump’s decision, which threatens to destroy the 2015 nuclear accord. While Iranian officials, including the parliament speaker, say they hope Europe will work with them to preserve the deal, many are pessimistic.
The lawmakers, including a Shiite cleric, held the flaming flag alight as their colleagues joined their chants. They also burned a piece of paper representing the nuclear deal and stomped on the papers’ ashes. While US flag burning is common in Iran and harsh criticism of America has been a staple of Iranian parliamentary politics for years, it was the first time political observers could remember anything being burned inside the parliament itself.

3 – March of Nations Fills Jerusalem With Love and Prayer as the ‘Real Victory Over Nazism’, BREAKING ISRAEL NEWS, Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz
“Call upon Me in time of trouble; I will rescue you, and you shall honor Me.” Psalms 50:15 (The Israel Bible™)
On Tuesday, the three-day March of Nations conference culminated in a parade of over 3,000 Christians from approximately 40 countries who filled the streets of Jerusalem and displayed their love of God and the Land of Israel on the Jewish state’s 70th anniversary.
Outpourings of love for Israel always contain a moving spiritual element, but this gathering had an additional element: witnessing the flourishing State of Israel that has risen from the ashes of the Holocaust.
“This is the real victory over Nazism,” said Member of Knesset, Rabbi Yehudah Glick as he led the parade from Sacher Park towards the center of town. “The hearts of these people is stronger than all the darkness. The love in Israel is stronger than all the hate.”

4 – Understanding Gaza And Beyond…, UCI EXCLUSIVE, by Gerald A. Honigman
Renewed tragedy has been occurring in Gaza for weeks now. Before it’s over, there will be much destruction, and many lives will have been lost or seriously impacted in other ways.
The near-sighted blame this on President Trump’s recognition that, since King David purchased it from Jebusites three thousand years ago (with Jerusalem subsequently becoming the heart and soul of Jewish existence), he would heed Congress’s call to acknowledge Zion as Israel’s capital, moving America’s embassy there on the 70th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth, May 14, 2018. Like all other nations on Earth, Israel finally got to choose its own most important city.
