Students at Catholic University have initiated a drive to have the Olympic Committee observe a minute of silence at this summer's Games to honor and remember the 11 Israeli Athletes who were murdered by terrorists in 1972. What they are doing goes beyond anything I have ever seen and has ignited a world drive for this One (1) minute of silence.
Please watch the video and sign the petition and circulate.

Thank you. We stand with you for this one minute of sllence. We are touched and encouraged with what you are doing…long, too long overdue.
I also agree that this moment of silence is long overdue. I hope you are successful in your endeavour. The senseless deaths of these young athletes should remain in all as a reminder of what kind and what standard of world do we want, and should struggle for. Generations like yours give us hope for a better future.
As one who lives in Israel and remembers the murders at the Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics, I salute those who created and participated in this exceptional video. Listening to each of you I have renewed hope that good people like you will be leaders in spreading the humanitarian values by which all of us should live.
A minute of silence at the Olympics would not only respect the memory of the innocent victims of terror. It would give the world a moment to contemplate the beauty of peaceful cooperation. It would also serve to remind those families who remain bereaved that they are not alone; we remember them as well as their loved ones. Thank you , CUA!
Kudos to you for your initiative. The one minute silence is but a subtle way of paying tribute to the victims. Shame on the Olympic Committee for balking at the idea.
Perhaps this will be a starting point to speak out more about these acts of terror, may our voice become louder and stronger until others may join in like the Olympic Committee cowards who did not do so.
Congratulations and Thank You to the students and faculty of Catholic University for adding your couageous voices to this cause.
I embrace each and evey oneof you.

Your efforts warms my heart. I will be as always supporting the State of Israel and all her people. I support the one minute of silence at the Olympics.
I fully support the one minute of silence at the Olympics. Thank you, CU, for your concern and efforts against this horrific terrorism directed at the Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics. Never again!
I fully support the one minute of silence at the Olympics. I also commend these wonderful students. They are the future of our blessed country.
I would like to think that a moment of silence would not be too much to ask from the IOC, but in a world of political correctness that doesn't want to offend anyone, Islamic influences would see this as an insult to their faith implying that terrorism is an Islam thing, and would do anything to prevent it. I applaud the CU students for their efforts, and I know that Jesus would be proud; but don't get your hopes too high. Ignorance and intollerance is a powerful enemy that has yet to be defeated; but this could be a step. I pray with you that they listen to reason- there's far too little of that going on these days.
What a wonderful group of kids you are. You're all great role models for your generation. What an amazing thing you are doing in memorializing the memory of the Olympiads who were murdered. You define who and what you are in life by what you are willing to stand up for and fight for. G-d Bless all of you. Ilene
I support a moment of silence at the 2012 London Olympics
This Jewish man's is so touched that a group of Catholic students have taken upon themselves to stand up and take action in this way.
Members of my family were killed during the Holocaust. The world was largely silent. I am so moved that students at the Catholic University have created this video and reached out to decent people all over the world to honor the memory of the Israeli athletes killed by terrorists.
I support a moment of silence at the 2012 Olympics in London
It is unbelievable that the Olympic community can not give a minute for the lives of 11 great human being ,that just shows you what human lives lives are worth to the Olympic community and the Host country,May be it is because the lives taken were Jewish .
