1) Four rockets were fired from Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula last night at the southern Israeli city of Eilat. The Islamic State’s Sinai branch called Willayat Sinai claimed responsibility for the attack, as the Islamist organization declared on social media “war on Israel.”
2) Rights groups petitioned the Israeli Supreme Court against the new law that effectively legalized Israeli settlements and outposts that were built on private Palestinian land in the West Bank.

3) Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry had a meeting in Jordan’s capital Amman, during which they called on Israel and the Palestinians to resume negotiations that would bring about an end to the decades old conflict.
